"Let's Go Dancing" lyrics

From the moment that we met
No doubt, no regrets
Just a lotta laps and little tears
But it's been way too long
Since we stepped out to those songs
Days turn into weeks, turn into years

Let's go dancing, let's go dancing
Leave our worries and this troubled world behind
Just like the first time you put your loving hand in mine
Just you and I, let's go dancing tonight

In the shadows, in the light
I hold you close, you hold me tight
As I fall in love again once more
If life gets in the way
I know we'll be okay
As long as we can find an old dance floor

Let's go dancing, let's go dancing
Leave our worries and this troubled world behind
Just like the first time you put your loving hand in mine
Just you and I, let's go dancing tonight
Just you and I
Let's go dancing tonight
Let's go dancing
