"B.O.T.A. (Baddest Of Them All)" was released on the 15th of June, 2022, via Rosebud Recordings and became the viral summer hit. The song eventually topped the Official UK Singles Charts at the beginning of September that year. Eliza Rose became the first female DJ to top the chart in over 20 years and wrote about it on Instagram on the 2nd of September, 2022, "#1 BBZ THE PEOPLES RHYTHM IS OFFICIALLY THE BOTA @interplanetary_criminal93 number ones BABES !!!!!!"

"I always use my surroundings to inspire me," Eliza Rose told NME. "I was in my boyfriend's bedroom and he had a 'Coffy' poster, and the words were 'She's the baddest, wickedest in town'. It was a Blaxploitation poster, so that's something I'm proud of and want to represent. I used that to inspire my lyrics and knew what it needed to be—it was strange, like a gift from a higher power."
