Last night I had a surprise party
My girl invited all of my friends
It was amazing, nobody wanted our night to end
Except for me, I only had one thing on my mind
Will I get to finish all my daily puzzles in time?

If I don't, I get very morose
So I dip out to the bathroom and I take out my phone
Pretty soon a bunch of people start banging the door
But my games are too important so y'all getting ignored

Every day I need to play a game
And if I don't, I straight up go insane
Shapes and letters getting rearranged
In a way that stimulates my unwell brain

Every time I look away
That's time I could've spent playing
Honestly, I'm not ashamed
I'd rather play a puzzle game
I need my little games
And if I'm acting strange
Its 'cause I'm thinking about my puzzle games

Life feels like a simulation
I need mental stimulation
Daily tasks are way too boring
So I'm focused on my scoring
I stay locked in with my puzzles
Talk to me you're getting muzzled
When I finish every tile, then you'll finally see me smile

I could go to school, get a job, join the rat race
But I'd rather spend my days finding patterns and shapes
I could write a book, finally put my thoughts on the page
But everything except for games fills my body with rage
I could be a chef serving up some modern cuisine
But it wouldn't be as fun as puzzle games on my screen
Everything I want, everything is so far away
But the puzzles that I play get refreshed everyday

Every day I need my puzzle time
And if I don't I'm liable to cry
Arranging characters in a line
In a way that satisfies my unwell mind

When I put my phone away
I wish that I could keep playing
My desire can't be tamed
I'd rather play a puzzle game
I need my little games
