"4X4 Is King" lyrics

Take me out somewhere west of nowhere
Where the 4x4 is king

I've been working overtime
I've been slavin' to the grind
To keep the lights on and the roof over our head
There's a place we know where the streets ain't gold
But it's the closest thing to heaven you can get

Take me out again
Where the road runs out and the blacktop ends
Gonna burn some fuel
Where the red dirt rules
And the big wheels roll on in
And the 4x4 is king

Put some ruts down in the clay
Get some dings along the way
But ain't that what this living's all about?
If you push your luck, you might come unstuck
But there's always some old mate to pull you out

Take me out again
Where the road runs out and the blacktop ends
Gonna burn some fuel
Where the red dirt rules
And the big wheels roll on in
And the 4x4 is king

Come on

4x4 is king
4x4 is king
We gonna
Light that fuse
Where the red dirt rules
And the 4x4 is king

Take me out on the banks of a muddy river
Where the 4x4 is king
