Late at night I was out hearing sounds
And I caught a glimpse of some kind of creature
What? Unannounced
It looked like some kind of alien hiding behind the bush
But I thought "Oh no, you're crazy"
Didn't take a second look
I was headed home from a party at my friends' house
Can't really call her that though
She barely said hello
And I keep thinking 'bout the people that are letting me down
It wouldn't phase me if there are some other creatures around
I'm getting kinda tired of these humans here on earth

Saw there was an alien on the loose
I wondered why I wasn't freaked out
Fine with them being around
It ain't the scariest thing I've seen on the news
We've got bad people too
I highly doubt that aliens are that bad
No way they're worse than some of you
I talked to one of my so-called friends
To ask her what she thought about the aliens
I said "That's crazy right? What a sight!"
Then she looked at me and laughed
"You don't think they're real right? Cause that would be really sad"
I said "Oh, I don't know I mean there's a video"
She said "Well of course you'd be the one to fall for a hoax ha!
You and the aliens should be friends I bet you have a lot in common"
I said "Maybe we do" and that's probably true
We both are misunderstood and unknown
I never fit in on this earth maybe it's better to go
To a planet nobody knows far away from here
With better friends my aliens are not to fear
I'm getting kinda tired of these humans here on earth
