"Still Worthy" lyrics
Standing on the front line, Lord—I wondered if I'd live
It's hard to fight, and trust You when I've little faith to give
Tired, and torn, and beaten down, fatigue has won the day
I simply want to close my eyes and let it fade away
To trust You when there's nothing left, and we can barely see
You sometimes do direct our steps, where we don't want to be
At times, You act in wondrous ways; sometimes pain carries on
Success is never promised, here, on this side of the storm
But we are Yours through the fire, Lord, and Yours through every flame
If You choose to deliver us, we'll proclaim Your Holy name
But if you don't provide a miracle, and You move in unknown ways
With our anthem high, we'll testify, You're still worthy of our praise
So we will stand in faith right now; trust further than before
We'll forward move, with faith renewed, in You we are restored
You're worthy on the mountaintops, and in the valley too
You're always right, your plan brings light, your every move is true
So we are Yours through the fire, Lord, and Yours through every flame
If You choose to deliver us, we'll proclaim Your Holy name
But if you don't provide a miracle, and You move in unknown ways
With our anthem high, we'll testify, You're still worthy of our praise
Worthy, worthy, worthy, is Our God who's overall
Regardless of results or stays, no matter if we fall
You've got us in the good times, and when it makes no sense
You're strong to lead, our hearts believe, you're always our defense
We are Yours through the fire, Lord, and Yours through every flame
If You choose to deliver us, we'll proclaim Your Holy name
But if you don't provide a miracle, and You move in unknown ways
With our anthem high, we'll testify, You're still worthy of our praise
You're still worthy
Worthy of our praise
Still worthy
Still worthy
It's hard to fight, and trust You when I've little faith to give
Tired, and torn, and beaten down, fatigue has won the day
I simply want to close my eyes and let it fade away
To trust You when there's nothing left, and we can barely see
