Outside my kitchen window
I see a pillow in the tree
Nestled in its branches
For everyone to see...
I wonder how it got there
So plainly in our sight
Did someone have a nap there
Or maybe spend the night...

Who's pillow is it anyway
Suspended in the air
Did someone climb the tree last night
And gently place it there...
Or did it fall out from the clouds
To rest there overnight
Just some junk from outer space
Falling from a satellite...

I'd like to go and climb that tree
And bring the pillow down
But then again, it looks nice up there
Resting like a crown...
I'm sure in time the wind and rain
Will force it from its nest
So I think it's best to let it be
And let that pillow, let that pillow rest...
