V has got a chance to write "Sweet Night" for the original soundtrack of the JTBC drama "Itaewon Class" because he and the leading actor of the series, Park Seo Joon, are very good friends. V explained how this song came about by saying, "I read the webtoon for 'Itaewon Class' a long time ago, and I remember finding it really entertaining with a message of its own. I particularly liked the character Park Saeroi, and I'm so happy that my good friend and hyung is playing him. I'm also thankful to be able to participate in such a great drama through a self-produced track." The song, released on 03/13/2020, can be heard in the 12th part of the series.
