And the angel of His presence saved them

Whenever I read this verse I think about
The lifestyle that I used to live
Whenever the Lord was pursuing me
And I was constantly saying no and wanting to do my own thing
He had been carrying me the whole entire time
I just had no idea that He was
And there were a lot of mistakes that I would make
That easily could disqualify me
But I'm so glad that God doesn't take record of our wrongs
Instead He picks our head up
And He tells us to keep moving forward and to look at Him
And no matter what He's never gonna let us go
And He's always gonna have open arms for us
Whenever we're ready to turn towards Him
