Being Hinder's best-know track, "Lips of an Angel" is the lead single from their album "Extreme Behavior". The song was released in July 2006.

According to Billboard magazine, drummer Cody Hanson commented on this song's live performances to Universal Republic's Tom Mackay, "Everybody and their mother are shitting their pants about 'Lips of an Angel.' It's biker dudes in leather and 18-year-old girls. They're all going nuts for it." This led to releasing this track as a single.

The song was most successful in Australia where it debuted at number one on Australia's ARIA Singles Chart on the 4th of February 2007 and stayed there for seven weeks.
