AFI's frontman Davey Havok told the following about "Holy Visions" released with its music video on the 9th of September, 2025, "It's a bit tongue-in-cheek. It addresses the concept of right and wrong, and good versus evil, and what is truly evil and is truly good, and whether or not there is such a thing, while also mocking organized religion." The song was the second track unveiled from AFI's twelfth album, "Silver Bleeds The Black Sun..." (their new music in four years) following the first single "Behind The Clock".
