"Reverse The Curse" is the second single from Alexisonfire's studio album "Otherness". The song was premiered on April 27, 2022. Vocalist George Pettit explained, "This song was 'Young Cardinals'. The original version of 'Young Cardinals' was the riff from this song, and we—we actually played a version of 'Young Cardinals' in Hamilton. That was this song. One time. And then we scraped it because we were cowards, because we thought—we thought that it was like too much like Kyuss worship of something like that, that we were venturing off the path a bit too much. We were like, 'This isn't who we are. We should do something different.'" He also added, "So, fast-forward to out making this record: Alexisonfire has a new-found confidence and, um, we do whatever the fuck we want now. So, we decided to bring this one back and play it and I think it turned out great 'cause I always loved it."
