"Set Me Free" was the first new song released by Avenged Sevenfold in four years. The band premiered it exclusively to the members of their fan club on the 16th of January 2020.

This song was recorded during the time when the band was working on their "Hail To The King" album in 2013, but it didn't make to the final tracklist.
