"How Deep Is Your Love" lyrics
"How Deep Is Your Love"
(from "Saturday Night Fever" soundtrack)
I know your eyes in the mornin' sun
I feel you touch me in the pourin' rain
And the moment that you wander far from me
I wanna feel you in my arms again
And you come to me on a summer breeze
Keep me warm in your love, then you softly leave
And it's me you need to show
How deep is your love?
How deep is your love? How deep is your love?
I really mean to learn
'Cause we're livin' in a world of fools
Breakin' us down
When they all should let us be
We belong to you and me
I believe in you
You know the door to my very soul
You're the light in my deepest, darkest hour
You're my saviour when I fall
And you may not think I care for you
When you know down inside that I really do
And it's me you need to show
How deep is your love?
How deep is your love? How deep is your love?
I really mean to learn
'Cause we're livin' in a world of fools
Breakin' us down
When they all should let us be
We belong to you and me
Na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na, na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na, na-na-na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na, na-na-na-na
And you come to me on a summer breeze
Keep me warm in your love, then you softly leave
And it's me you need to show
How deep is your love?
How deep is your love? How deep is your love?
I really mean to learn (I really mean to learn)
'Cause we're livin' in a world of fools
Breakin' us down
When they all should let us be
We belong to you and me
(Na-na-na-na-na)
How deep is your love? How deep is your love?
I really mean to learn
'Cause we're livin' in a world of fools
Breakin' us down
When they all should let us be
We belong to you and me
(Na-na-na-na-na)
How deep is your love? How deep is your love?
I really mean to learn
'Cause we're livin' in a world of fools
Breakin' us down
When they all should let us be
We belong to you and me

This song is part of the soundtrack to the film "Saturday Night Fever" (1977). It was originally written by Bee Gees for American singer Yvonne Elliman, but the producer of the film decided it would be better performed by them. Yvonne Elliman sang "If I Can't Have You", another song from the soundtrack.
The song won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance By A Group in 1978. In USA it stayed in the Top 10 for then-record 17 weeks.
Barry Gibb said in 2001 Billboard magazine interview that "How Deep Is Your Love" was his favorite Bee Gees song.
When
Take That covered this song in 1996,
Gary Barlow explained,
"We wanted to prove that we could still do a cover version this far on in our career and do it very well."
