"I Wanna Be A DJ" lyrics

So son it's time to think about what to do for a living
Sure dad
You know it's on my mind too
What do you see me doing
Well you're very sourceable
So maybe a job where you work with people a lot
That cool dad I want to interact with other people professionally
Well what do you see yourself doing
Where do you see yourself 10 years from now
Dad there is something I need to tell you
Go right ahead son
Well I wanna be a DJ
What's that son
I wanna be a DJ
A what
Oh you mean you want to be a speaker on the radio
Not that kind of DJ though that's kinda cool too
I wanna play music at parties
Well that's great son
But what I meant was
What do you want to do for a living
I want to be a DJ
Spin music at clubs and festivals
Take people on a musical journey
Wait til I speak to your mother
Carol
I wanna be a DJ
I wanna be a DJ
I wanna be a DJ
I wanna be a DJ
