"Praise The Lord" lyrics
"Praise The Lord"
(feat. Thomas Rhett)
Praise the Lord for southern women, Hemi engines, crispy chicken
Praise the Lord for east Atlanta, Country Grammar, and my nana
Praise the Lord that I got everything I want and need and more
I might turn up on Saturday, but first thing Sunday morn'
I praise the Lord
Praise the Lord for sister Julie, big ol' hat and tambourine
She keeps playing when we're shouting, doesn't know that she's off beat
Praise the Lord for my bartender, turns a single into two
We went crazy out there last night, we need saving in this pew
It don't matter how you worship, sinner, saint, win or lose
Praise the Lord for southern women, Hemi engines, crispy chicken
Praise the Lord for east Atlanta, Country Grammar, and my nana
Praise the Lord that I got everything I want and need and more
I might turn up on Saturday, but first thing Sunday morn'
I praise the Lord
He rocking with me, that's for sure
Praise the Lord (Praise the Lord), praise the Lord
He rocking with me, that's for sure
Praise the Lord (Praise the Lord), praise the Lord
Praise the Lord for my three babies and the one that's on the way
All the words up in the good book and dirt up on my Chevrolet
Praise the Lord for Sunday morning and paycheck Friday afternoons
For cold-beer conversation and broken cowboy boots
It don't matter how you worship, sinner, saint, win or lose
Praise the Lord for southern women, Hemi engines, crispy chicken
Praise the Lord for east Atlanta, Country Grammar, and my nana
Praise the Lord that I got everything I want and need and more
I might turn up on Saturday but first thing Sunday morn'
I praise the Lord
He rocking with me, that's for sure
Praise the Lord (Praise the Lord), praise the Lord
Praise the Lord
He rocking with me that's for sure
Praise the Lord (Praise the Lord), praise the Lord
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord
Ooh, ooh, oh
Praise the Lord (Praise the Lord)

BRELAND stated about this track in a press conference, "This is the fastest tempo song of anything performed on any of the stages tonight, and, there were dance moves, so for this performance, as I always try to do, I came with a lot of energy. Oddly, though it was in a stadium, it was just a larger version of the shows that I've been putting on in smaller venues across the country of late."
"Praise The Lord" was debuted by BRELAND during his first-ever Academy of Country Music Awards performance at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, on the 7th of March, 2022. ACM's Twitter accounted stated the next day,
"Praise the Lord for that performance! @breland and @ThomasRhett knocked it out of the park. Tune in to @PrimeVideo for more from the #ACMawards."
Thomas Rhett said about this collaboration,
"The first time I heard the song, I was dancing and throwing my hands in the air, and I'm glad that BRELAND graciously allowed me to put a verse on there. [BRELAND]'s one of the most unbelievable talents that I've ever been in the room with. Outside of Shay Mooney and Chris Stapleton, BRELAND's the only other guy I've worked in a recording studio with where I've said, 'You guys just don't miss a note, do you?' When we tracked the vocals together, I had to ask, 'You don't really need me in the room for this, do you? I don't want to ruin your song!'"
