"Near or Far" lyrics

Hold my pace
Shake that tambourine, baby
I've been making my way to you
Right in place
With every moving planet
Spinning light across the room

Just hold a place for me, for us, for all those colours
I walked in grey alone down the river boulevard
The melancholy was stinging
How could I know how this goes?
I didn't know how this goes

Hearts will savour it
I wanted to know where you are
Near or far
Hearts will savour it
I wanted to know where you are
Near or far

Right on track with it, I'm still angry with you
Back of the cab, the city lights are spinning halos 'round your head
I'm still tangled in your bedsheets, and I'm waiting
I'm still tangled in your bedsheets as I'm waking for your love

How could I know how this goes?
I didn't know how this goes

Hearts will savour it
I wanted to know where you are
Near or far
Hearts will savour it
I wanted to know where you are
Near or far

Hearts will savour it
I wanted to know where you are
Near or far
