"His Name Shall Be (Isaiah 9)" lyrics

A child will be born, a Son will be given
For those in the dark, a light shines from Heaven
And all those who mourn and those who are grieving
A Savior has com, a God to believe in

His Name shall be
Wonderful, Counselor
Mighty God, Everlasting Father
His Name shall be
Prince of Peace, the King of Kings
His Name is Jesus

From Heaven's high throne, the Lord in a manger
Messiah has come, the perfect redeemer
And our King shall reign in glory and splendor
His kingdom shall be forever and ever

His Name shall be
Wonderful, Counselor
Mighty God, Everlasting Father
His Name shall be
Prince of Peace, the King of Kings
His Name is Jesus

He came for the broken, He came for the hurting
Our God made flesh shall carry our burdens
He came for the lonely, He came for the suffering
Our present help will heal and restore us
He came for the anxious, He came for the addict
To break every chain and free every captive
He came for the prisoner, He came for the sinner
Hallelujah, we praise You forever

His Name shall be
Wonderful, Counselor
Mighty God, Everlasting Father
His Name shall be
Prince of Peace, the King of Kings
His Name is Jesus
(Sing it again, say)
His Name shall be
Wonderful, Counselor
Mighty God, Everlasting Father
His Name shall be
Prince of Peace (Oh-oh), the King of Kings
His Name is Jesus

(Say His name)
His Name is Jesus
(The most powerful name)
His Name is Jesus
(We bless the holy name)
His Name is Jesus
