"Intro" lyrics

"Intro"

Hello
I'd like to thank you all for taking the time to listen to these songs
It was many years ago at a place in Dallas, Texas that we call the AllGood Café the first time I saw a picture on the wall
It was of a man referred to as the real deal and if you spoke his name above a whisper, he'd just disappear into the hot Texas night
I can see him now on a big stage in Memphis, Tennessee or Austin, Texas singing with tears in his eyes
He changed my life forever
He was my friend
James Hand
And these are his songs
This one's for you Slim
