"Blessed Be" lyrics

Where would I be if it wasn't for Jesus?
The debt of my sin would still be unpaid
Where would I be if it wasn't for Jesus?
The waters would have swept me away

So blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be His name forevermore
If it had not been for Him, where would I be?
Praise Him for the battles He has won
For who He is and all He's done
As long as I have breath, I'm gonna sing
Blessed be, Lord, blessed be

And how could it be that the God of creation
Would know me by name and call me His friend?
And how could it be that He offers salvation?
And covers me again and again

So blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be His name forevermore
If it had not been for Him, where would I be?
Praise Him for the battles He has won
For who He is and what He's done
As long as I have breath, I'm gonna sing
Blessed be (Yeah), blessed be

I just want to thank You
I know that I would be so lost without You
Oh, Jesus, You're the refuge that I run to
Your love has set this captive heart free
Lord, blessed be
I just want to thank You
I know that I would be so lost without You
Oh, Jesus, You're the refuge that I run to
Your love has set this captive heart free
Lord, blessed be, yeah

Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be His name forevermore
If it had not been for Him, where would I be?
Praise Him for the battles He has won
For who He is and all He's done
As long as I have breath, I'm gonna sing
I said, as long as I have breath, I'm gonna sing
Lord, blessed be, yeah
Oh, blessed be Your name, God, hey
