"Ghosts Again" is the lead single from Depeche Mode's album "Memento Mori", their first album since the death of founding member Andy Fletcher who did not record any material for the album despite the fact that work started before his passing. Frontman Dave Gahan explained in an interview with NME, "He never got to hear any of it, which is really sad to me because there are songs on this record where I know he'd be like, 'This is the best thing we've had in years.' I can hear his voice. I can also hear him saying, 'Does every song have to be about death?!'"

music video (directed by Anton Corbijn) were published on the 9th of February, 2023. Frontman Dave Gahan told "Clash Magazine" about it,
