"Psalm 51 (Have Mercy On Me)" lyrics

Donnie McClurkin Lyrics

"Psalm 51 (Have Mercy On Me)"

Have mercy on me
By your loving kindness
Multitude of your tender mercies
Take away all of my transgressions

Have mercy on me, Lord
By your loving kindness
The multitude of your tender mercies
Take away all of my transgressions

Have mercy on me
By your loving kindness
The multitude of your tender mercies
Take away all of my transgressions

Have mercy on me
By your loving kindness
The multitude of your tender mercies
Take away all of my transgressions

Everybody, say

I need a clean
I need a clean heart
I need a clean
I need a clean heart

Purge
Purge
Purge
Purge

I pray
And

Wash me
Wash me
Wash me
Wash me

Create
Create
Create
A clean heart

Create
Create
Create
A clean heart

Create
Create
Create
A clean heart

Create
Create
Create
A clean heart

Oh, my Lord

Create in me a clean heart, oh, God
And renew a right spirit within me
And let no sin have dominion over me
Let no sin have dominion over me

Create in me a clean heart, oh, God
And renew a right spirit
And let no sin have dominion over me
No, no
Let no sin have dominion over me

Cast me not away from your presence
Don't take your spirit away from me
God give me back the joy of salvation
Let no sin have dominion over me
Let no sin have dominion over me

Restore the joy
Restore the joy of your salvation
Let no sin have dominion over me
Let no sin have dominion over me

I need a clean
I need a clean heart
I need a clean
I need a clean heart

Purge
Purge me, Lord
Purge
Purge
Purge

And

Wash me
Wash me
Wash me
Wash me

Create
Create
Create
A clean heart

Create
Create
In me
Create
Yes, God
A clean heart

Create
Create
Create
A clean heart

I need

Create
Create
Create
A clean heart

Yes, Lord
Yes, Lord
Yes, Lord

Tell
Surrender
Yes, Lord
God will
Yes, Lord

Oh, my
I need you to forgive me
Let no sin have dominion over me
Let no sin have dominion over me
Please
Let no sin have dominion over me
Take it out of my heart, Lord
