The first single from their 2017 album, it was released to Christian radio on the 23rd of February 2018. An extended play containing the radio, live, reprise, acoustic and Spanish versions of the song was released on the same day.

According to Mack Brock, one of the co-writers, this song as a whole and its chorus in particular were inspired by a verse written by Jeremiah, Lamentations 3:23-24 from the Bible. He reaffirms that God is still faithful, that his promise still stands.

There was an early version of this track released as part of the "Speak Revival" extended play on the 9th of September 2016. Another (live) version was released as a second promotional single during the pre-order of the "There Is a Cloud" album on the 17th of February 2018.

"Do It Again" reached number 6 on the US Hot Christian Songs chart.
