"I Used To Be A Silhouette" lyrics

I know, I know you're not from 'round here
The light reflected by you illuminates what's real

Say it out loud:
"I used to be a silhouette"

Don't speak, don't open your mouth, it's not the time to tell

I almost woke you up last night to tell you you were screaming
I almost took a train last night just to change what I was seeing

Say it out loud:
"I used to be a silhouette"
"I used to be a silhouette"

I almost woke you up last night to tell you I was frightened
But silence gets the better of us, and you sleep on, unenlightened

Say it out loud:
"I used to be a silhouette"
"I used to be a silhouette"
"I used to be a silhouette"

Was it something that I did?
Was it something that I said?
Oh, it just looked like you wouldn't come back
It just looked like you wouldn't come back
Was it something that I said?
Was it something that I did?
Oh, it just looked like you wouldn't come back
It just looked like you wouldn't come back
It just looked like you wouldn't come back
