"RISE" is the first single from Extreme's studio album "Six". The song was premiered on March 1, 2023, accompanied by the music video directed by the band's guitar player Nuno Bettencourt and filmed in Los Angeles. With the song's release, the Boston quartet also opened the pre-order for their first new album after fifteen years since their last studio release.

Extreme vocalist Gary Cherone told about this track, "Musically, it's aggressive. Lyrically, it's a cautionary tale on the rise and fall of fame. You get seduced into it. Once you're on top, they'll rip you apart and tear you down. That's the nature of the beast."
