And these artists explain what they had to do or (Sellin' drugs)
What they've been through in order to get where they at (Bein' shiesty)
Like it almost seems worth it
And in reality, these shows are actually producing
This twisted view of businessmen and women and investors
(Here's the investment) So it's like
Somebody from the hood watches theses shows
And invested in 10 or 12 years of gettin' shot, (Shootin' [?])
Sellin' drugs, gettin' locked up (Stealin' cars)
Gettin' a police record, droppin' out of school (Robbin' cats)
All of a sudden this stuff is not so bad now
It almost seems worth it, like
If my struggles would produce me a million dollars or
Or maybe I could start my own record label
Then my investment paid off in the end
So that's why we as Christians are fighting against this very thing
Tonight we fight, and our weapon ain't the coolest thing
We take to war the fullest thing which is the cross of Christ
And we ain't moved by a pool of things in order to gain
We lose our life just to be pruned and cleaned
And seeing it's right and be cool with the king
Assuming illuminator will be gettin' a bright in the light
So we can commune and resume doin' our thing
Centering our attention on Jesus the Christ (Why?)

But that's the illusion man
And that illusion springs from the pride within ourselves
The sin problem, the Bible puts it like this
In 1st John 2 & 16
"For all that is in the world is
The lust of the flesh
And the pride of life"
It says "It is not of the father but of this world"
And the world is passing away man, and the lust of it
But he who does the will of God, abides forever
That's why we scream it man, it's the sin problem yo
That part in us that wants to do our own thing and rebel against God
