The lyrics and music are taken from the
Hymn to Nikkal (also called Hurrian Hymn no. 6), the oldest surviving record of music notation from northern Syria dating to approximately 1400 BC. The words are in the Hurrian language, and are written in cuneiform, so there is more than one interpretation of the text. This is the interpretation that is used by Heilung.
