Hollow Coves stated the following about "Evermore", "This song is a special one as it was written for Matt's sister to walk down the aisle to on her wedding day. It is the first love song we have ever written. We tried to capture the feeling of finding someone that you want to spend the rest of your life with."

The music video for this song was published on the 18th of June 2020. The band explained its creation by saying, "...when we met the actors, Kirstie Lee Bennett & Oliver Stafford, who are a couple in real-life, we knew we had found a good fit. They were even generous enough to let us use their own personal videos from the past 7 years of their relationship for the final montage in this video." Onil Kotian directed the visuals.
