"I've Been Gone" lyrics

Well I've been racking up the miles
On these worn out tires
And I still ain't tired of the view
Been spending more time
On this old shoreline
With my tacklebox and muddy boots

I never knew
How much fun life could be
Until you set me free

Ever since you left
Yeah I've been gone
I'm sitting here tonight, girl
Rolling just like a stone
I ain't slowing down
I ain't got no regrets
'Cause darling ever since you left
Yeah I've been gone
Gone

Well I had me a ball
At this hole in the wall
I ran across off this ole 2 lane
Went in for a few
Came out around 2
And took the party back to my place

This cute little thing
Left her number on my hand, heh
No, girl, it ain't all that bad

Ever since you left
Yeah I've been gone
I'm sitting here tonight, girl
Rolling just like a stone
I ain't slowing down
I ain't got no regrets
'Cause darling ever since you left
Yeah I've been gone
Gone

You want me to feel bad
Well honey I don't
Hell I've had a good buzz on

Ever since you left
Yeah I've been gone
I'm sitting here tonight, girl
Rolling just like a stone
I ain't slowing down
I ain't got no regrets
'Cause darling ever since you left
Yeah I've been gone
Gone
Like a rolling stone
Baby I've been gone
Oh yeah
