The year was like 2008. I'm living in Atlanta. Homeless. Sleeping in the homie Fred's studio. I remember calling my mom the night before like I'm giving all this up, you know what I mean? Told her I love her. Woke up the next morning. Popped a whole bunch of pills. Something like 70. 70 some odd pills. There was this church down on Pleasantdale Road across the street from the park. Told myself if I die I always wanted to hear something peaceful like kids playing or something like that so. I walked to the church. Praying to god like you know "If there is a god out there let me go back and save that... that young child that is me somehow", you know what I mean? I felt like I lost him. It began to rain. I remember I just closed my eyes, laid in the parking lot. And then I fell asleep.
