This collaborative effort between Lauv and Troye Sivan was released on the 24th of January 2019.

Lauv and Troye Sivan took to Twitter on the 16th of January 2019 to announce this single. Two days earlier, they teased a potential collaboration by creating a song list entitled "Lauv x Troye Sivan: i'm so tired" with their selection of song to sleep to.

These lyrics contain references to Coldplay song "Hurts Like Heaven" and Lorde's "Buzzcut Season".
