"Reaching Through the Heavens" lyrics

"Reaching Through the Heavens"

Uh, yeah
You-you like shit
Ay

It's what you all been waiting for ain't it?
This Rooster Jenkins shit kinda got us reacquainted
I'm happy you could join me in this universe I painted
Such a beautiful feeling I really can't explain it, ah
I really can't explain it, ah
I really, yeah
Ayo

Albums are dead, music is dead
So now I'm rapping in the afterlife instead
I don't give a damn what's cool
I'm not some tool, more like a tool to toil
Cruising on this beat like hydrofoil
Feeling royal, Rooster Jenkins
College Park, let's all embark
Let's all get faded on this high
From this music, why? I don't know
Live in the past or enjoy this new shit
Farewell to the days of fucks givin'
I'm livin' now in the moment
That feel good now, don't it?
Don't need no atonement
'Cause everything I done, I fuckin' own it
I'm in the mood for this
This a album that's not a album, but is
This shit is like if Orson Wells
And the Incredible True Story done had some kids
Comic Con panel worthy
Comic Con better earn me
I can make music for like minded outcasts
That are here to outlast the fad
I'm glad you could join me
Wanna know what happened to Thomas and Kai
When they landed on Paradise and stared at vanilla skies with their own two eyes
Searchin' for life on a planet and caught by surprise?
Well, I'll tell you
Really, that's the story about a guy who felt alone
So he decided to create a safe space of his own
He created characters and people on notes on the app in his phone
Every person, every conversation
Based on fact and realization, every detail
All the way down to the Babel Space Station
This universe I made is my greatest creation
Sometimes I feel alone cause it's so vast
I wanna move forward but people tend to want more of the past
I'm tryin' to fulfill the will of others but that shit won't never last
That's why instead of Ultra 85
I decided to tell a story of people no longer alive
A rap western cinematic radio play
'Cause why the fuck not? It's what I do
Albums are dead but I'm still makin' them for you
Cause why the fuck not? It's what I do
Why even a playing field? I'd rather keep it odd
Do a western and recruit the voice of God
It's what I do

As the luxury train reached the tunnel, Semyon Alapin's men gave message of the approach via fireworks in the nights sky for Greg's cousins: Chen, Wang and Carl to separate the final two cars from the luxury train. But Leblanc had been informed of this and held himself up in the final cars to ensure his treasure reached the destination of his homeland on the plantation. Unbeknownst to him that was exactly where the car was going. You see, Rooster had devised with his fellow Glorious Five to send that train car, with a bag of dynamite, all the way to the train's end, the back of the Destrehand house - to ignite. Rooster knew the layout of the land and knew Leblanc was such a bastard, he didn't let his house
Negros sleep under the same roof. So they would be safely asleep when the train collided with its destination

Oh, it was a shoot out just getting Rooster atop the train car. The Gunslinger took a bullet to the collar bone, snapping it in half. Gatling gun fire rained down on the Mexican sending his body flying to the track beneath, mangled by the weight of the train. All while its passengers were too far up in first class and too inebriated to know what was going on. Crazy Horse guided Rooster and with one hand pushed the young man atop the second to last train car before falling from the speeding train. After all of LeBlanc's men had been shot, the Chinaman gave a bag of dynamite to Rooster just before he separated the second to last car - only fifteen feet before they reached the tunnel... where his cousins switched the track... safely sending the luxury car into a cavern in the mountain. Leaving our Rooster Jenkins and his former master speeding towards the plantation

We goin' home boy! I got my gold! I got my slaves! You got nothin!

You're wrong Leblanc! I got dynamite! And you ain't got no conductor!

Leblanc realizing he was on a speeding train set to explode, headed directly for his domicile did what any coward would. He fell to his knees and begged

Oh no, no come on now, don't - let's talk about this now please now you - go on now - we go - don't do this!

Leblanc, I can't say I hate to tell you this. Cause I'm loving every minute of it. But what you did you did it to yoursel-
