"Bleed" lyrics

"Bleed"

Staring into the mirror
Wishing I could be anyone but me
So obvious to me now
These demons that nobody else can see

I wonder if my friends know that I cry
When their at a party and I'm sitting at home
I wonder if my friends know that I lie
They think that I'm happy, and I'm drowning inside

I don't wanna be the one that's bleeding, bleeding out
I can't even see nor hear nor speak, I'm lost and now

I keep running from me. uh huh
Running from you. uh huh
From what I feel. uh huh
Tell myself it's not real. uh huh
Bleed, I'm bleed, I'm bleed, I'm bleeding out
(I'm, I'm bleeding out)

Uh uh uh...

What would happen to me, yeah
What would happen if I let them in my walls
If I told them I was bleeding
I wonder if they'd even care at all

I wonder if my friends know that I cry
When their at a party and I'm sitting at home
I wonder if my friends know that I lie
They think that I'm happy when I'm drowning inside

I don't wanna be the one that's bleeding, bleeding out
I can't even see nor hear nor speak, I'm lost and now

I keep running from me, uh huh
Running from you, uh huh
From what I feel, uh huh
Tell myself it's not real, uh huh
Bleed, I'm bleed, I'm bleed, I'm bleeding out
(I'm, I'm bleeding out)

Uh uh uh...

Maybe I-I don't have to do this alone
Maybe it would help if somebody, somebody knows
I'm trapped, I'm trying to let go
I'm trapped, I'm trying to let go
I'm trapped, I'm trying to let go

I don't wanna be the one that's bleeding, bleeding out
I can't even see nor hear nor speak, I'm lost and now

I keep running from me, uh huh
Running from you, uh huh
From what I feel, uh huh
Tell myself it's not real, uh huh
Bleed, I'm bleed, I'm bleed, I'm bleeding out
Bleed, I'm bleed, I'm bleed, I'm bleeding out
(I'm bleeding out)
Uh uh uh...
(I'm bleeding out)
Uh uh uh...
(I'm bleeding out)

"Finally, my first original single is out after three long years!! I wrote this from a very personal place. Last year my family went through some very difficult times, and for a while, I felt alone and isolated. It felt as if no one understood what I was going through. I was overwhelmed with emotions - I constantly felt sad, but most people around me had no idea until I decided to reach out. I realized that I wasn't alone. Know that you aren't alone. Everyone goes through lows at times, and there is always someone to help. I'm so excited to share 'Bleed' with you." - Madilyn Paige
