Teasing "I'll Never Not Love You" in an Instagram video message posted on the 14th of January, 2022, Michael Buble said about the song, "I'm so excited that every time my parents or my family, my friends come over I make 'em listen. But the truth is I can't wait to listen to it with you. [...] What I can tell you is the title which is double negative that I think makes you feel positive." The song had been planned to be published on that day but it was released two weeks later instead of which Buble said further, "The waiting is the hardest part!
