"Perfume Of The Timeless" is the first single from Nightwish's tenth studio album, "Yesterwynde". The song was premiered on May 21, 2024, accompanied by the music video.

Speaking with Kerrang! in an April 2024 interview, Nightwish's keyboardist and composer Tuomas Holopainen shared, "When we had the first meeting with Nuclear Blast, talking about the new album and singles, I told them, the first single will be a song called 'Perfume Of The Timeless', and it's eight-and-a-half minutes long, and the chorus comes in at 3:30. And they were like, 'Perfect!' I think that has to do with the fact that we have a long legacy."

The cover art of this single is based on a photograph taken by Frank Meadow Sutcliffe in the late 1800s in England. The younger woman from the original picture was replaced with vocalist Floor Jansen.
