Oh, I have nothing but fond memories. During the dark periods, the period where the sun is completely absent for a month, people would get closer together. It sounds almost counterintuitive, but it's true. I guess it can be hard to envision this unless you've grown in such environments. And we would come together, talking, partying. Oh, I don't know, there is something very intimate about the dark period. One becomes more sincere, more personal, a sense of living in new blindness together, I don't know.

And when the Northern Lights shimmer, it was like the sky throwing a cosmic party, and we were the lucky guests with front-row seats. In the never-ending night, we would dance, drink, just be together. And it was a wondrous thing.
