"Superstition" is the first single from Soulfly's twelfth studio album, "Totem". The song was premiered on May 6, 2022. Max Cavalera commented on the band's first music after the departure of their longtime guitarist Marc Rizzo, "'Totem' is a celebration of the spiritual nature. It was a two-year journey writing with Zyon [Cavalera]. This album is about all the joy, the fun and the anger in metal."
