"Good Morning Beautiful" was first released as part of the soundtrack to the film "Angel Eyes" (2001).

This song is the fourth single from Steve Holy's album "Blue Moon". The single was released in July 2001.

Songrwriter Zach Lyle came up with the idea for this song while driving on an interstate highway, "I was getting off at my exit and I saw the words 'Good Morning Beautiful' spray-painted on the rock wall overhead. That struck me as an interesting phrase."

This track topped the Billboard Hot Country Singles and Tracks chart in February of 2002.
