"Underrated" lyrics
(feat. AK of Do Or Die)
And in this corner
Fifteen years strong
One of the most amazing voices
The underrated champion of the world
She is, Syleena Johnson
[Syleena Johnson:]
She's so underrated
Underestimated
Skills so complicated
Without the love I got from my fans don't think I would've made it
Some say, "she's outdated"
But they just wanna hate her
They know she's underrated
And I think it's time to show this world just what this diva's made of
I been in this business fifteen years and still I'm going stronger
Messed around, got married, had two kids and still I'm going stronger
Gotta let this industry determine how and where I'm gonna
Not gon' conform to what ya'll do, I do what the fuck I wanna
Round for round, pound for pound
They got me underrated
Knock me down, I get back up like Laila, I'm the greatest
Gave 'em four chapters hit after hit but radio never played it
This might be cocky but it's real so fuck I'ma say it
She's so underrated
Underestimated
Skills so complicated (The underrated champion of the world, Syleena Johnson)
Without the love I got from my fans don't think I would've made it
Some say, "she's outdated"
But they just wanna hate her
They know she's underrated
And I think it's time to show this world just what this diva's made of
[AK:]
Underrated, I was trippin' on the ones who thought I faded
So I got a double zone, kudos
And I got another new flow
When you askin' who's flow, you smash like Sumo
So I flip through the pages, going through the pages
But I'ma still be debated
Comin' runnin' through the block like ah, yeah
Nobody can really fuck with it
Fifteen years still sellin' up with it
Thirty-five cause a young boy stuck with it
You can play around fam ima go get it
Yeah they hatin' but they won't admit it
Told them walk in my shoes shoes but they cannot fit 'em (Come on, platinum, how we underrated?)
Let a boy let it ride
I'm another Timbertown boy
I'm in the air throwin' up free throws
Can you step to the side? Let a boy let it flow cause this is something we know
Syleena, they ain't never heard a singing diva like you before
Fly to the G though, only because we know she's so
[Syleena Johnson:]
She's so underrated
