"Gymkhana Yodel" lyrics

[Yodelling]

We're singing as we go, my sister and I
While our palomino ponies as they go cantering on their way
The sun is shining bright, and my sister and I
Are headed for the big gymkhana day

All the stock men from the hills around sing
[Yodel]
And we answer till the hills are ringing [Yodel]
As we head for the big gymkhana day

[Yodelling]

There's fun and laughter too, on gymkhana day
The stock men ride the outlaws as they cheer them on their way
There's ribbons for the ponies; that the judges think are best
But the golden palominos win the day

When they're riding home again, they're singing
[Yodel]
And we answer till the hills are ringing [Yodel]
As we head for the big gymkhana day

[Yodelling]

And when we're riding home again, they're singing
[Yodel]
And we answer till the hills are ringing [Yodel]
As we head for the big gymkhana day

[Yodelling]
