"Hey Hey It's Saturday" lyrics

Hey, hey, it's a Saturday
It's not Friday night
Yeah
Thursday's gone
Wednesday's passed on
And so to my delight

Hey, hey, it's a Saturday
Tuesday doesn't count
Yeah
I wouldn't buy back Monday
Whatever the amount

And as for Sunday
It's only good because
Hey, hey, it's a Saturday
What the day before that was
Let's go

Hey, hey, it's a Saturday
It's not Friday night
Yeah
Thursday's gone
Wednesday's passed on
And so to my delight

Hey, hey, it's a Saturday
Tuesday doesn't count
Uh oh
I wouldn't buy back Monday
Whatever the amount

And as for Sunday
It's only good because
Hey, hey, it's a Saturday
Was the day before that was
Yeah
