"Introduction To October Winds" lyrics
[Dorothy:] Everybody, I brought my friend Martin to help little Jeff and everyone get to sleep. Martin's an Irishman and you're from a country called Ireland
[Martin Doherty:] I am, and in Ireland we have our own language and if you want to say Ireland in Gaelic you say "Éire". Would you like me to teach you how to speak Gaelic?
[Dorothy:] I'd love that Martin
[Martin Doherty:] Okay well, I'll teach you how to say "Thank you very much". It's Goran mila mo hargit
[Dorothy:] Goran mila mo hargit
[Martin Doherty:] That's great
[Dorothy: (giggles)] Martin, can you tell us a little bit about Ireland?
[Martin Doherty:] Oh yes, well, I come from a place called Dublin which is the capital of Ireland and that's a salt of Ireland and we have a lovely big river which flows right through the center of Dublin and that's called the River Liffey. We also have one of the widest streets in Europe and that's called O' Connustry. We also have a wonderful big zoo called Dublin Zoo but the best thing about Dublin is on a Friday night, all the families get together and we sing and we dance and we tell jokes and we all love Friday nights
[Dorothy:] Oh Martin, that sounds fantastic. Do you think you could help everyone get to sleep especially Little Jeff by singing us one of those beautiful lullabies?
[Martin Doherty:] Oh, I'd love to do that. But only sing if you would sing with me, Dorothy
[Dorothy:] Oh, I love to, Martin. Goran mila mo hargit
