"Memory Lane" lyrics

"Memory Lane"

I remember where I came from
But I'm excited to learn more
So many people to meet out there
So much I can explore

I just love to go new places
It can be scary sometimes
But I know that I can do it
Mom or dad here by my side

I've got cool rocks in my pocket
I've got no shoes on my feet
I have new friends in the classroom
So, there's plenty people to meet
I've got sunshine on a good day
I've got puddles when it rains
I've got family with me forever
And we can stroll down memory lane

I'm getting really good at feelings
I can name them all. It's true
When I'm down or feeling lonely
It's like a sadness or the blues
But I like making my friends happy
'Cause then I feel so happy too
Playing games outside together
Sharing and showing things with you

Like I've got cool rocks in my pocket
I've got no shoes on my feet
I have new friends in the classroom
So, there's plenty people to meet
I've got sunshine on a good day
I've got puddles when it rains
I've got family with me forever
And we can stroll down memory lane

I've got cool rocks in my pocket
I've got no shoes on my feet
I have new friends in the classroom
So, there's plenty people to meet
I've got sunshine on a good day
I've got puddles when it rains
I have family with me forever
And we can stroll down memory lane
