"Fever" is the second single off of the Bonus Edition of Dua Lipa's "Future Nostalgia" album. She told about this collaboration with Angèle, "It was really cool to get to do this and to be able, like, bring both of our ideas together and have this, like, merging of worlds and merging of languages. I was learning French. It was so amazing, so cool..."

Describing this song in an interview on the 30th of October 2020, Dua Lipa told, "I guess, 'Fever' is a very freeing-at-the-moment kind of song. It's obviously the feeling that somebody gives you and you not being able to let go. And all of a sudden you have this fever that you just can't let go. And I think this can be, like, between friends, between lovers, between people that you've just met."
