"Bangaranga" is Bulgaria's entry into 2026 Eurovision Song Contest held in Vienna on the 12th, 14th and 16th of May, 2026. DARA performed the song during the second semi-final of the show, and the song was qualified for the final, winning the contest eventually and thus giving Bulgaria the first victory in this music competition with 516 points scored.
The title of this song was derived from "bangarang" in Jamaican Patois. The English meaning is "uproar" or "riot" with the latter appearing in the lyric "Welcome to the riot". DARA explained to Bulgarian National Television, "'Bangaranga' can be time, the color of shoes, or just a feeling, but for me, the song means discovering the inner strength that each of us carries and acting through love, not fear. [...] On top of that, 'Bangaranga' is inspired by the Bulgarian Kukeri. My initial idea was that this Bulgarian spirit could be represented by this very beautiful, super fashionable way."
"Bangaranga" was first released as a single on the 2nd of March, 2026, with its music video (directed by the label K2ID Productions) made available on the YouTube channel of the Eurovision Song Contest on the 17th of March, 2026.
