That's the optimistic hope of the song."

Speaking with Apple Music, Robin Pecknold revealed about this song, "I was trying to go for a Bill Withers-y thing. I feel like a lot of the people that get mentioned in 'Sunblind', their resonance is there, influencing throughout the record."
