"Halfway 2 Jesus" lyrics

I was born (Born)
By the lake (By the lake)
And I was touched (Touched)
By the hands of fate (Hands of fate)

I've tried so many times
Tried until I chill
Feels like I'm running blind
Up and down this hill

And I'm halfway to Jesus
I can feel love between us
Eternal life, the book of John
Yahweh keeps me moving on
Half, oh, half
Way to Jesus

Lord, You know I've made mistakes
And I was lost in a sea of snakes

And these days I spend my time
Trying to make things right (Trying to make things right)
No more running blind
I finally see the light

And I'm halfway to Jesus
I can feel love between us
You ain't right, I ain't wrong
No one walks this road alone
Half, oh, half
Way to Jesus

Lord, I'm coming home
And I'm on my way

I was lost, now I'm found
I was bruised and broken down

But Your love is lifting me up to higher ground (Up to higher ground)
So I'll keep on climbing and never turn around

'Cause I'm halfway to Jesus (Way to Jesus)
I can feel love between us (I can feel your love)
You ain't right, I ain't wrong
No one walks this road alone
Half, oh, half (Way)

Halfway to Jesus (Half away to Jesus)
Halfway to Jesus
Halfway to Jesus (Hoo-ooh!)
Eternal life, the book of John
Yahweh keeps me moving on
Half, yeah-yeah-yeah
Way to Jesus
