"Into The Setting Sun" lyrics

All those I've come to know as I look back on the years
All the love I've been shown, all the laughter, all the tears
This life we live is merely a moment of eternity
And when my final moment comes
May Jesus walk beside me as I ride off into the setting sun

I pray for salvation; so often I did stray
One light piercing the devil's darkness, one light to show the way
May I remain humble in the graces of each day
Another is promised no one
May Jesus be my guide as I ride off into the setting sun

Faith is a shield and the word of God a sword
Let the soul heal from the lessons of the Lord
Walk upon the path that leads to the narrow door

May I live seeking favor from the maker
And when my final moment comes
May Jesus walk beside me as I ride off into the setting sun

May Jesus walk beside me as I ride
May Jesus be my guide as I ride
May Jesus smile upon me as I ride off
Into the setting sun

Into the setting sun
Into the setting sun
Into the setting sun
Jimmie, ride on
Jimmie, ride on

May Jesus walk beside me (Oh yeah) (Yeah)
May Jesus walk beside me (Jesus) (Yeah)
May Jesus walk beside me (Jesus) (Yeah)
May Jesus walk beside me (Oh, as I ride)
May Jesus walk beside me as I ride (Yeah)
May Jesus walk beside me as I ride (Yeah)
May Jesus walk beside me as I ride (Yeah) (Yeah)
May Jesus walk beside me as I ride (Yeah, yeah) (Yeah)
May Jesus walk beside me as I ride (Yeah, yeah) (Yeah)
May Jesus walk beside me as I ride (Wanna ride on)
May Jesus walk beside me as I ride (Jimmie, ride on)
May Jesus walk beside me as I ride (Yeah)
