This song appears twice on "The Hamilton Mixtape": first sung by Regina Spektor (featuring Ben Folds), and a reprise version sung by Chance the Rapper and Francis and the Lights.

"Dear Theodosia (Reprise)" was placed between "Burn" and "Blow Us All Away" during Hamilton's Off-Broadway run. In this track, Aaron Burr is telling his daughter that her mother has passed away.

According to Lin-Manuel Miranda, this reprise was not included into the Broadway version of the musical because it would have been confusing for the audience: first, Aaron Burr's wife and daughter both had the same name (Theodosia), and second, this track drew too much attention to two off-stage characters.
