"Let's Kill Tonight" lyrics
"Let's Kill Tonight"
If I retreat
Words, wars, and symphonies
Make room! We're taking over here
You're the galantine
Cold and alone, it suits you well
Won't find me perching here again
May your feet serve you well
And the rest be sent to Hell
Where they always have belonged
Cold hearts brew colder songs
Fate will play us out
With a song of pure romance
So stomp your feet and clap your hands
Let's kill tonight!
Kill tonight!
Show them all you're not the ordinary type
Let's kill tonight!
Kill tonight!
Show them all you're not the ordinary type
Let's kill tonight!
May your feet serve you well
And the rest be sent to Hell
Where they always have belonged
Cold hearts brew colder songs
Fate will play us out
With a song of pure romance
So stomp your feet and clap your hands
Let's kill tonight!
Kill tonight!
Show them all you're not the ordinary type
Let's kill tonight!
Kill tonight!
Show them all you're not the ordinary type
Let's kill tonight!
Kill tonight!
Show them all you're not the ordinary type
Let's kill tonight!
Kill tonight!
Show them all you're not the ordinary type
Let's kill tonight!

"Let's Kill Tonight" was premiered on the 1st of February 2011, when the band performed at the Bowery Ballroom in Manhattan. It was released as the third single from the album on the 29th of August 2011.
As every song on the album talks about some vices or virtues, this song represents wrath and anger.
Brendon Urie told in an interview with Hollywire TV, "The lyrics kind of talk about just the idea of—you know—when you're like feeling cocky and you're out with your friends, and you're like, 'Yeah! We're gonna kill it tonight. This is gonna be awesome,' and that's really what it was about. Just—you know—one of those good times, the party times."
The studio version of this song debuted in the band's short film "The Overture", released several days before the album's release.
